Kathmandu- With a focus on sensitising potential investors to investment opportunities for sustainable infrastructure in Nepal and for the advanced investment climate, the Investment Board Nepal is organising a Sustainable Infrastructure Investment Forum from September 14.
The key objective of the Forum is to explore ways on how foreign investment could be made more reliable and systematic in the country while ensuring sustainability of the development process.
Organising a press conference on Sunday, Chief Executive Officer of Board Sushil Bhatta said the Forum would discuss the ideas of making development construction works sustainable while making it green, resilient and inclusive. He added that the Forum would be a cornerstone for resource mobilisation to achieve the net-zero carbon emissions as committed by Nepal in the COP-26.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to inaugurate the Forum, Board's Spokesperson Amrit Lamsal said.
